RETURN TO CAMPUS CAMPAIGN
RETURN TO CAMPUS CAMPAIGN
OBJECTIVE
After working for ASU's Enterprise Marketing Hub as a student worker for 2 years, I was brought on as a full-time designer a few months before I graduated in January 2020, shortly before COVID-19 impacted the U.S. One of my first and biggest campaigns I worked through was the Return to Campus campaign. As questions went unanswered about the COVID-19 pandemic, as a university we had to figure out how we were going to handle student's return to the university and create a system for university-wide signage, digital assets, and graphics.
PRINT MATERIALS
PROCESS
Our first task was to begin creating a set of uniform icons that we can reuse across different print and digital materials. We worked to create icons that remained consistent with brand guidelines and the use of bold line art. From there, each assignment we received was created with ease with the use of the icons and created using a template-based system where we only had to come in, change up the copy, the icon, and it was ready to send to print.
Along the way, I created designs for facemasks that were distributed to all students and digital stickers that can be used on social media through Giphy that have been viewed over 1 million times.
In total, ASU produced over 100+ pieces of digital and print signage, over 70,000+ signs printed by the Print and Imaging Lab, 70+ custom icons created, a handful of commercials, and an outstanding amount of new photography for the Return to Campus.
The Forks Up, Masks Up (Return to Campus Campaign) was awarded a Gold 2021 American Advertising Award under the Cross Platform, Social Responsibility category.

ORGANIC SOCIAL CONTENT
OBJECTIVE
ASU strives to connect with their current/prospective students, alumni, and all fans across their major social media accounts by providing new and relevant content to their followers. As a designer, I work to follow brand guidelines, develop new strategies to increase engagement, create innovative designs to entice users, and stay updated with current trends on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
AR SOCIAL MEDIA FILTERS
In the Spring 2020 semester, graduations across the university were canceled so the Design Team at the Enterprise Marketing Hub was tasked with creating new digital assets that students across the world were able to use to celebrate their graduation. Our team came up with plenty of AR filters available to the public on Instagram and Snapchat stories using Spark AR Snapchat Lens Studio, and Blender.
